The clinical case and evolution are discussed here.Se presenta aquí el caso de una niña de 5 años de edad que cayó sobre una estaca de caña de maíz, provocándose traumatismo encéfalocraneano con lesión punzopenetrante. Quedaron alojados fragmentos de caña en el trayecto que siguió, retroocular e intracerebral.
