This work is carried out quantitatively. Methods: Under the non-experimental cross-sectional design and the level of causal correlation, the total is made up of 60 CENEPRED collaborators, for convenience a sample was selected, using surveys as data collection techniques and questionnaires as tools. The result is a correlation coefficient of 0.885, so it is inferred that there is a highly positive internal correlation between the variables studied. However, a bilateral significance of less than 0.05 was obtained, so the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. The conclusion reached is that there is a significant relationship between theefficiency of the body of public managers and the modernization of thestate in the National Center for Evaluation, Prevention and Disaster Risk Reduction-CENEPRED, 2019.El actual estudio “La eficiencia del cuerpo de gerentes públicos y la modernización del estado” tuvo como objetivo general en determinar la relación entre la eficiencia del cuerpo de gerentes públicos y la modernización del estado en el Centro Nacional de Evaluación, Prevención y Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres-CENEPRED, año 2019. Este trabajo se realiza de forma cuantitativa. Métodos: Bajo el diseño transversal no experimental y el nivel de correlación causal, el total está compuesto por 60 colaboradores del CENEPRED, por conveniencia se seleccionó una muestra, utilizando encuestas como técnicas de recolección de datos y cuestionarios como herramientas. El resultado es un coeficiente de correlación de 0.885, por lo que se infiere que existe una correlación interna altamente positiva entre las variables estudiadas. Sin embargo, se obtuvo una significancia bilateral de menos de 0.05, por lo que se rechazó la hipótesis nula y se aceptó la hipótesis alterna.
