Finally, it presents the conclusions and the relevant literatureEl presente artículo tiene como finalidad estudiar los espacios de socialización y el cambio de comportamiento en higiene en los sectores populares de Lima Metropolitana en el 2008. La investigación presenta, en primer lugar, a los actores sociales que participan en los espacios de socializacion de las prácticas de higiene. En segundo lugar, analiza las expresiones culturales que más utilizan los sectores populares. En tercer lugar, interpreta los principales mensajes que destacan en los espacios de socialización. En cuarto lugar, describe los impactos que producen los espacios de socializacion con relación al agua y saneamiento.
