This research is of a qualitative nature, to the extent that it is proposed to analyze the subjectivities and constructions of serumists. The findings of this research point out that in the midst of the influence of medical training, marked by a biologist tradition, serum specialists have a degree of agency through which they are able to articulate what is taught in different contexts, develop criticism and select those logics and notions that help them in their understanding of reality and self-produce their own meanings around certain elements. However, sometimes there is a tendency to reproduce practices linked to disparities in the doctor-patient relationship, as well as in geographical and epistemological dimensions.La presente investigación tiene por finalidad conocer las representaciones en torno al cuerpo y la sexualidad en serumistas4 de medicina a fin de develar sus vínculos con la atención médica. Esta investigación es de orden cualitativo, ello en la medida que se propone analizar las subjetividades y construcciones representacionales de serumistas. Los hallazgos de la presente investigación apuntan que, en medio de la influencia de la formación médica marcada por una tradición biologicista, las y los serumistas poseen un grado de agencia a través del cual son capaces de articular lo enseñado en distintos contextos, elaborar críticas y seleccionar aquellas lógicas y nociones que le ayuden en su comprensión de la realidad y autoproducir sus propios significados en torno a determinados elementos.
