Sumario:This paper is intended to clarify how a stage has been characterized in the Peruvian economy, the industrialization process in Peru for the period from 1930 to 1975. The article begins with the conception of rationality as a link between the geographical environment and the ways how social and economic organization; are based on certain territories. Given different geographical conditions, forms of social organization on the one hand and within reach of certain policies do not generate the same results. In that sense, we reflect on how industrial developments have been understood by the government in power that is complementary to our geography.
