The evidence identified in the archaeological excavations gives us clear indications of power hegemonies imposed at different times in a part of the peruvian central highlands.Ranrapata ubicado en las entrañas del distrito de Acoria departamento de Huancavelica, guarda una larga ocupación que va desde el Intermedio Tardío con la presencia de los Astos, quienes sucumbirían a la llegada de los Incas. Con la presencia española hacia esta zona, diversas sociedades sufrirían cambios estructurales en cuanto a su sistema social e ideológico.
