The responsible handling of chemícal wastes wíll reduce present and future threats to the health and the environment; as well as the deterioration of materials. Therefore, a method far envíronmental chemical waste management of laboratories is presented.La gestión y manejo adecuado de los residuos químicos provenientes de los laboratorios, permite el ahorro de reactivos y materiales; así como, la disminución de costos asociados al manejo y disposición final de los mismos. También previene daños a la salud de las personas que tienen que desarrollar una actividad académica en el laboratorio (profesores, asistentes y estudiantes) o una actividad profesional ligada a la prestación de servicios de análisis químicos (analistas, asistentes y personal auxiliar).
