Antecedentes hereditarios, sus padres murieron cuando él tenía poca edad, por lo que ignora la enfermedad que ocasionó su fallecimiento; tiene tres hermanos que son sanos; es casado y ha tenido cuatro hijos que son sanos. Su señora no ha tenido abortos. Antecedentes personales, niega haber tenido enfermedades, dice haber sido sano hasta que se presentaron los primeros síntomas de la enfermedad que padece. Unicamente ha sufrido un traumatismo en la boca al pretender abrir una cuchilla; ese traumatismo le hizo perder los dos incisivos inferiores centrales, los que ha hecho reemplazar con artificiales. No hace uso de coca, ni fuma tabaco, ni acostumbra ingerir bebidas alcohólicas.
