Finally, recommendations are presented for teachers and students to follow.El presente trabajo de investigación se centró en el análisis de la formación académica universitaria en la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, y como esta influye en la capacidad de emprendimiento empresarial de los alumnos, desde el tercer al décimo ciclo, el estudio se basó en la población que asciende a 1632 estudiantes con una muestra de 315 alumnos, se elaboró un instrumento de recolección de datos, el cual fue previamente validado con una buena calificación,  esta investigación responde a la hipótesis de investigación, en donde se concluye que existe una vinculación significativa entre las variables de estudio estableciendo a la capacidad de emprendimiento empresarial como variable dependiente y a la variable formación académica como variable independiente, el enfoque es cuantitativo, la investigación es de tipo descriptivo correlacional causal, se parte de una hipótesis que se desea contrastar.
