Descripción
Sumario:Oswaldo Reynoso’s novel, in October there are no Miracles (1965), has been criticized for its exaggerated language and the hiperbolizada representation of its protagonists. However, on the intentionality of the message and its strong ideological load was explored little; However, to present a counterposition of the urban-marginal spaces, the questioning of ideology of the dominant subject, the continuous participation of the narrator’s voice, the differentiating language and the scathing critique of Peruvian society, elements Typical of a thesis novel, is not part of this classification. This is evident in the lack of prologue, which supports the importance of an ideology defended in the text; Moreover, it lacks a proposal or solution to combat adverse reality. That is why this study proposes explaining why this work can be considered as a failed thesis novel.
