The language of coming to be opens the way for its ontological characterization, which is translated into constitutive moments of what comes to be. Obtaining the ontology of coming to be enables Aristotle to resume the question about the foundations of natural beings and to answer it under a hylomorphic scheme.Interpretar el análisis de “llegar a ser” efectuado por Aristóteles en Física I 7 e insistir en su carácter decisivo con respecto a la problemática planteada en los capítulos anteriores es el objetivo del presente artículo. Para ello, dicho análisis es contextualizado sucintamente dentro de este primer libro y descrito después a modo de tres diferentes aproximaciones: pragmática, sintaxis y semántica del término. El lenguaje del llegar a ser abre el camino para su caracterización ontológica, la cual se traduce en momentos constitutivos de lo que llega a ser.
