In the late eighteenth century in our country, and it shows a concern for the technical study of medicine. By the year 1792, founded by Unanue Anatomical Amphitheatre San Andrés temple where it was to teach the morphology, the science of Luzzi and Vesalio. The following year, Unanue begins a cycle of clinical conferences, in which they took part Valdés, Villalobos, Cosme Bueno, Vergara y Puente. For the first time, following the educational trends of leydediana and Viennese School, is at stake this academic attempt, as a way to interest young people in the Hippocratic studies. This natural and scientific currents coming illustration, prepares the creation of the School of Medicine.
