This last group is mainly analyzed , and subdivided into banal headache 44 cases , atypical 34 cases migraine and typical migraine 17 cases , the percentage of abnormality in EEG based on each group is as follows : a) banal headache 36.3 % b ) atypical migraine 58.8 % c) 58.8 % The typical migraine overall percentage of electroencephalographic abnormality based on the total group is 48.4 % against 51.6 % in normal EEGs . The major abnormality is characterized by hipervoltaje , theta waves and synchronous e hypersynchronous paroxysmal slow , and asymmetry of the occipital alpha activity. Asynchrony is also moderate . It was also found asymmetry of the anterior frontal beta activity in 4 cases of migraine. "Financial centroencefálico headache " and " migraine centrencephalic " arises . EEG abnormalities percentages presented with headache and epileptic organic frames equally . In conclusion, the comprehensive clinical evaluation of patients with headache is essential electroencephalographic study and banal distinction of typical or atypical headache or migraine centroencefálicas.En 500 pacientes con electroencefalogramas se seleccionaron 168; porque tenían cefalalgia importante. En éstos habían 40 con patología orgánica determinada, 33 casos con epilepsia, y los restantes 95 con cefalalgia sin causa orgánica demostrable. Este último grupo es el principalmente analizado, y subdividido en cefalalgia banal 44 casos, migraña atípica 34 casos y migraña típica 17 casos, cuyo porcentaje de anormalidad al electroencefalograma referido a cada grupo es el siguiente: a)cefalalgia banal 36.3% b)migraña atípica 58.8% c)migraña típica 58.8% El porcentaje general de anormalidad electroencefalográfica referido al grupo total es de 48.4 % contra 51.6 % de EEGs normales. La mayor anormalidad se caracteriza por hipervoltaje, ondas theta y lentas sincrónicas e hipersincrónicas paroxismales, y asimetría de la actividad alfa occipital. También se encuentra moderada asincronia. Se encuentra asimismo asimetría de la actividad beta frontal anterior en 4 casos de migraña. Se plantea la denominación de "cefalalgia centroencefálico" y "migraña centroencefálica". Se presentan porcentajes de anormalidades del EEG en epilépticos con cefalalgia e igualmente en cuadros orgánicos.
