Descripción
Sumario:A determination of transaminase, glutamic-oxaloacetic and glutamic-pyruvic transaminase, in seven patients with Weil's disease was made, all jaundiced, diagnosed clinically and by agglutination reactions; figures were found within relatively normal limits. Determination of glutamic oxaloacetic and glutamic pyruvic transaminase in 6 icterohemorrhagiace leptospira infected by intraperitoneal inoculation guinea pigs, they all became jaundiced. The figures found were within normal limits practically. It is known that transaminases rise significantly in the epidemic hepotitis (virus), an organization that raises differential diagnosis leptospiral jaundice. Transaminase testing is useful, therefore, to make the differentiation.
