The catalyst , titanium oxide ( Ti02 ) anataza type was characterized by the method of X-ray diffractionEn el presente trabajo se realizó la medición de la actividad del catalizador Ti02 tipo anataza a diferentes condiciones experimentales, en una muestra de pigmento textil amarillo yellow 50, utilizándose como reactor vaso pirex, realizándose las pruebas siguientes: 1) burbujeando oxígeno sin presencia de catalizador expuesto a luz ultravioleta a temperatura ambiente, 2) burbujeando oxígeno con catalizador y presencia de luz ultravioleta a diferentes temperaturas, se compararon los resultados entre estas pruebas, y se obtuvo una mayor actividad cuando las muestras fueron burbujeadas con oxígeno e irradiadas con lámpara UV- visible y calentadas a 338 K. Se comprobó la desmineralización de este pigmento con la medida de las concentraciones por UV-visible.
