Sumario:The genotoxic potential of the aquosus extract lyophilized of fruits solanum sessiliflorum Dunal, by means of methad head anomaly of spermatozoid rnouse was evaluated. A total of 21 albino mice male of the cepa Balb/c-53 were used. Tree group experimentals with 7 animals for group: solanum sessiliflorum Dunal to dose 2000mg/kg, ciclofosfamide to dose 50 mg/kg (positive control) and saline solution 0.9 % (negative control) were established. The aquosus extract and saline solution were administed route oral and ciclofosfamide route intraperitoneal during 5 days consecutives. After 35 days of the first administration, the animals were sacrifices, epididimes extracted and prepared a solution with tripsine, coloured with eosine and procedured to extend in lamina slide (2 lamina for animal) for the later recount. The sperrnatozoids were classified following the eriterion of Wyrobex and Bruee, based in normal heads, amorphous, bananas and ahook. solanum sessiliflorum Dunal not presented significants difference of amorphous spermatozoids in relation to negative control, for the that may to conclude extract not endowed genotoxic action to level germinals cells.
