Thereby giving rise to a possibility of physical connection of the Coast with the Sierra, which has been used to construct the main access roads to the mountain and forest.El Perú presenta un escenario donde se desenvuelven las actividades socioeconómicas, en cuanto niveles de relieves muy diferentes; la Llanura en el desierto costero, la Cordillera de los Andes, la Montaña subtropical (Ceja de Selva) y Selva Amazónica. Cada una de estas divisiones verticales tiene características ecológicas, económicas y sociales muy especiales. El sistema de la Corriente Peruana determina la riqueza ictiológica del mar y junto a la Cordillera uniformiza el clima a lo largo de la Costa. Asi como la ausencia de lluvias y su carácter desértico. Los valles de los ríos costeros se eleva abruptamente desde el nível del mar hasta los 4 000 a 5 000 mts. de altitud, sobrepasando raras veces los 100 km.
