The Adrenaline Test has been very inconsistent without diagnostic value of functional status before hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenocortical system. For this reason, the test has no prognostic value indicative of the resistance of patients to surgery. Instead, the constant and regular numerical variations of blood eosinophils - opposed to the thermocline - do recommend the routine use of Direct eosinophil count in the postoperative period. Both to control the patient's general condition, the early to discover any possible complications. Four patients with eosinophilia pulmonary echinococcosis were operated not follow the normal numerical variations of blood eosinophils in the second phase of the post-operative period.En 36 enfermos que debían ser operados, se ha ensayado el Test de la Adrenalina, como índice del funcionamiento del Sistema hipotálamo-hipófisis anterior-corticoadrenal, antes y después de la intervención quirúrgica. Además, se ha estudiado diariamente el comportamiento de los eosinófilos sanguíneos durante el período post-operatorio, relacionado con la temperatura. El Test de la Adrenalina se ha mostrado muy inconstante y sin valor diagnóstico del estado funcional del Sistema hipotálamo-hipófisis anterior-corticoadrenal. Por esta razón, dicho Test tampoco posee valor pronóstico indicativo de la resistencia de los enfermos a la intervención quirúrgica. En cambio, las constantes y regulares variaciones numéricas de los eosinófilos sanguíneos - opuestos a la curva térmica - hacen recomendable el uso rutinario del Recuento Directo de los eosinófilos en el período post-operatorio. Tanto para controlar el estado general del enfermo, cuanto para poder descubrir precozmente cualquier posible complicación.
