Indirectly, these actions have caused some health professionals (1) to postulate the following: a) CONCYTEC defines who is and who is not a 'researcher', and b) A 'researcher' who does not publish in indexed journals is a theoretician and does not It must be named as such. El Concejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONCYTEC) viene desarrollando una reconocida labor por incrementar la producción científica de calidad en nuestro país. Entre otras acciones, ha creado del Directorio Nacional de Investigadores (DINA) y el Registro Nacional de Investigadores en Ciencia y Tecnología (REGINA). Indirectamente, estas acciones han ocasionado que algunos profesionales sanitarios(1) postulen lo siguiente: a) El CONCYTEC define quién es y quién no es un ‘investigador’, y b) Un ‘investigador’ que no publica en revistas indizadas es un teórico y no debe ser denominado como tal.
