This paper present to determination the electrical conductivity of the cokes obtained from different range coal and the addition of coal and petroleum pitches influence, mainly over this property and the optic texture of the make cokes. The pitches addition affects in a different way the electrical conductivity of cokes, depending on the coal range, and the origin and proportions of additives.El coque metalúrgico es conocido ampliamente por sus aplicaciones como agente reductor y combustible en diferentes procesos de obtención de metales. El sector dedicado a la protección contra la corrosión hace uso del coque para una aplicación con requerimientos diferentes. Comprendiendo los requerimientos de uso, evaluando la incidencia de las materias primas y de las variables de coquización e implementando luego el proceso de producción determinado, puede llegar a satisfacerse esta necesidad especializada de uso del coque. Este trabajo tiene como obejtivo determinar la conductividad eléctrica de los coques obtenidos a partir de carbones de diferente rango y la influencia que ejerce la adición de breas de carbón y de petróleo, principalmente sobre esta propiedad y sobre la textura óptica de los coques preparados.
