In the present text we affirm that these factors have indeed been installed in Peru; but in a defective way. Worse still, in order to achieve this, the use of exclusionary, instrumentalist and totalitarian methods was not spared in the face of other, non-liberal, non-scientific and non-Europeanizing discourses.La mayoría de nuestros economistas afirman que somos ya un país occidental y moderno lo que intentan es convencernos, de una manera que no nos es consistentemente explicada, que la sociedad peruana se habría empoderado en el marco del capitalismo liberal reforzando esta posición en un Estado-nacional y en la razón positivista de la ciencia. En el presente texto afirmamos que efectivamente estos factores se han instalado en el Perú; pero de una manera defectiva.
