Results: the level of satisfaction was distributed as high (34.1%), medium (55.3%) and low (10.6%). Most of the patients belonged to the age group of 0-4 years (54.9%), male (54.2%) and resided in the province of Trujillo (67.8%). The parents were mainly aged between 30-39 years (45.8%), were female (90.5%) and had a higher level of education (60%). Teleconsultations had chronic diseases as the main reason for consultation (63.4%), lasted >10 minutes (76.9%), and prescriptions were issued in half of the cases (50.2%). Conclusion: The level of satisfaction of parents using pediatric teleconsultation was mainly at a medium-high level (79.4%). No association was found between the characteristics of the patient, the parent or the teleconsultation with the level of satisfaction.Objetivo: Determinar las características y el nivel de satisfacción de padres usuarios de teleconsulta pediátrica durante la pandemia COVID-19, atendidos en el Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray de la Red Asistencial EsSalud La Libertad, período mayo-julio 2021. Métodos: La muestra estuvo conformada por 273 padres de familia a los cuales se les aplicó vía telefónica una encuesta de satisfacción del usuario la cual consta de 15 preguntas que fueron respondidas en base a la escala de Thurstone. Resultados: el nivel de satisfacción se distribuyó en nivel alto (34.1%), medio (55.3%) y bajo (10.6%). La mayor parte de los pacientes pertenecían al grupo etáreo de 0-4 años (54.9%), sexo masculino (54.2%) y residían en la provincia de Trujillo (67.8%). Los padres tuvieron principalmente edades entre 30-39 años (45.8%), eran del sexo femenino (90.5%) y con un nivel de instrucción superior (60%). Las teleconsultas tuvieron como principal motivo de consulta a las enfermedades crónicas (63.4%), duraron >10 minutos (76.9%) y se emitieron recetas en la mitad de los casos (50.2%). Conclusión: El nivel de satisfacción de los padres usuarios de teleconsulta pediátrica fue principalmente de un nivel medio-alto (79.4%).
