Art in its various forms, theater, narrative, music, circus, puppets, painting, ceramics, dance, movement and others, play a fundamental role in the processes of personal and social transformation. The Arts allows for expression, the power of humanization of the human beings has been proven since ancient time, giving emphasis within the area of human development. In this field, we see an evolution from the identification of art with an artistic product and with artists belonging to certain elites. Currently the concepts have evolved giving Art and Creativity a broader vision that generates educational, social and political processes. Art and Creativity play a crucial role in Resilience, concept currently widely spread because is a powerful valuable resource due to its impact on conflict resolution, in reinforcing internal strength and enhancing the necessary mechanisms to face crisis, uncertainty and trauma. The author has lived experiences with Theater of the Oppressed in India, Biodanza in Peru and Europe, Meditations in Movement, Narrative in Africa and Social Circus in Palestine. In 2019, she was invited by the World Alliance for Art Education to the world meeting held in Frankfurt, Germany to present her experiences in this field. |

El Arte en sus variadas formas, teatro, narrativa, música, circo, títeres, pintura, cerámica, danza, movimiento y otras cumple un rol fundamental en los procesos de transformación personal y social. Sus perspectivas de expresión, de humanización del ser humano han sido probadas desde tiempos inmemoriales, así como el énfasis dentro del tema del desarrollo humano. En este campo vemos una evolución desde la identificación del arte con un producto artístico y con una denominación de artista que se circunscribía a ciertas elites. En la actualidad los conceptos han evolucionado dándole al Arte y la Creatividad una visión más amplia y generadora de procesos educativos, sociales y políticos. Arte y Creatividad juegan un rol determinante en la Resiliencia, ampliamente reconocida en la actualidad, porque se constituye en un recurso de enorme valor por su impacto en la solución de conflictos, en reforzar la fuerza interna y potenciar los mecanismos necesarios para afrontar la crisis, la incertidumbre y los traumas. Asimismo, la autora tiene experiencias vividas con Teatro del Oprimido en la India, Biodanza en Perú y Europa, meditaciones en Movimiento, Narrativa en África y Circo Social en Palestina. El año 2019 fue invitada por la Alianza Mundial de Educación por el Arte a la reunión mundial celebrada en Frankfurt, Alemania para presentar sus aportes en este campo.
