Such practices have spread worldwide. In this paper, we will make certainconsiderations that focus on the community space, with special attention to the actual situation in Spain.Uno de los escenarios en el que el fenómeno de la autorregulación está desempeñando una función muy relevante es elsocietario. En efecto, en el ámbito de las sociedades cotizadas, debido, en gran parte, a los escándalos acontecidos en tal sector,se han aprobado un elenco de iniciativas de buen gobierno corporativo. Este tipo de prácticas, con buen criterio, se hanextendido a nivel mundial.
