Significant differences in the relationship mother-children and in the process of personal adaptation between both groups were also found.  Se informa los resultados de una investigación de tipo descriptivo correlacional, en una muestra de 50 niños y adolescentes entre 9 y 15 años con el diagnóstico médico de Obesidad exógena tomando como grupo de contrastación de 50 niños que no presentaban Obesidad exógena, también se consideraron en la muestra a las madres de los niños de ambos grupos.
