In the first part of the study presents the approaches and, in the second approach are discussed in the focus context established by the authorEl presente estudio destaca la obra de la Iglesia en el Perú como escrutadora de los signos de los tiempos en la realidad social y la fidelidad de su misión de verdad que cumple “a favor de una sociedad a medida del hombre, de su dignidad y de su vocación” (Benedicto XVI), puesto de manifiesto en las diez (10) Semanas Sociales Nacionales realizadas en el lapso de 50 años, entre 1958 y 2008, las mismas que respondieron en su concepción, finalidad, organización y planteamientos temáticos, a diferentes enfoques, propios de los tiempos y contextos en que se desarrollaron.
