The program was developed in a primary health center dependent of a private University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The health center provides integral attention to underprivileged families. COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the inadequate living conditions and affected the possibilities of the educationalcontinuity in children (Tuñón, 2021). The school support program´s aim was to guide children´s learnings in a personalized way. The analysis of the surveys completed by the university students who led the program and the workshops with children and their families reveals that the participation in the programimplies benefits in different areas. University students recognized the development of abilities. Childrenidentified learning about specific content related to the primary level curriculum. Families identified theprogram has provided them support in their parenting role. In conclusion, the school support programencourages meaningful learning in the participants involved.El presente artículo describe las características de un programa de voluntariado universitario de apoyo escolar, que se sostuvo durante la pandemia por COVID- 19 y su impacto desde la perspectiva de sus protagonistas: voluntarios, niños y cuidadores. Este programa se lleva a cabo en un centro de salud dependiente de una universidad privada argentina que brinda atención a familias en situación de vulnerabilidad social. La pandemia ha agudizado el deterioro en las condiciones de vida y afectadola continuidad educativa principalmente en niños que viven en contexto de pobreza (Tuñón, 2021). Considerando esto, el apoyo escolar virtual buscó acompañar a los niños en forma personalizada en sus procesos de aprendizajes. A partir de encuestas a los voluntarios, encuentros grupales de evaluación con niños y cuidadores se observa que el apoyo escolar implica beneficios en distintas dimensiones: el desarrollo de habilidades en los voluntarios; consolidación de aprendizajes en los niños; constitución como un espacio de contención para los cuidadores.
