This sentence is the result of an analysis taking into account the social and cultural reality. In addition, it has also analyzed the two emblematic decisions regarding the change of sex previously processed.El presente comentario de jurisprudencia describe una sentencia del Tribunal Constitucional peruano respecto a un caso en el que se alega la violación al Derecho de Identidad de un transexual. El análisis que realiza el Tribunal Constitucional resulta relevante y determinante para afrontar las situaciones de personas que deciden cambiarse de sexo y por ende de nombre. Esta sentencia es el resultado de un análisis teniendo en cuenta la realidad social y cultural.
