The paradox isthat during this search science sometimes seems to contradict religion, especially christianism,from which nonetheless it was born. In the present paper we’ll see why this is not the case, andwhy no theory will ever be able to completely exhaust reality.La pregunta acerca del sentido último del mundo es tan antigua como el hombre. La novedad es que mientras en los siglos pasados se buscaba la respuesta solo a través del arte, de la mitología, de la filosofía y de la religión, hoy la buscamos también por medio de la ciencia experimental, especialmente de la cosmología y de la llamada “Teoría del Todo” (o TOE, del inglés “Theory Of Everything”). La paradoja es que en dicha búsqueda la ciencia parece a veces contradecir la religión, especialmente el cristianismo, del cual sin embargo ha nacido.
