Sumario:Accounting history dates back thousands of years, with the Sumerians in ancient Mesopotamia pioneering the development of accounting recording systems on clay tablets. Over time, accounting has evolved from simple business records to the creation of modern accounting principles, such as double entry. With the advancement of technology, accounting has been digitized, providing efficiency and accuracy in financial recording. In addition, accounting has incorporated environmental and social aspects into reporting, promoting sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
