In this way, we realized a diagnostic in order to identify the most critical points about the traffic jam into our city. We also have identified many problems because of the disorder in the traffic signals and the lack of respect to the regulations and municipal ordinances. We also add the lack of a technical study in order to make a proper installation of those traffic lights, which the municipality installs without having priorities of synchronization among them, so that the citizens spend more time in transport. That is the why we are considering the design of an Integrated traffic light control system. This research has an intention to find all the resources that our city has about this problem, such as its infrastructure, traffic ordinances and laws in order to improve all these problems.El objetivo del estudio fue plantear un diseño para un plan integrado de semaforización de la ciudad de Huánuco con el n de reducir el tiempo que se requiere para el transporte y los embotellamientos de vehículos que se generan. Para ello se realizó un diagnóstico de la problemática, identificando los puntos más críticos del embotellamiento de la ciudad. También se identificaron los problemas por la mala distribución de las señales de tránsito y la falta del respeto de los reglamentos y ordenanzas municipales; a esto se suma también la falta de un estudio técnico para las instalaciones de los semáforos de tránsito, los que están instalados por la municipalidad, sin tener prioridades ni sincronizaciones entre ellos; por lo que los ciudadanos tienen que destinar mayor tiempo en el transporte. Por eso se está planteando el Diseño de un Sistema Integrado del Control de la semaforización del tránsito vehicular.
