Se piensa que siempre se debe decir la verdad y que eso convierte al agente moral en virtuoso. Por lo general se piensa que Kant propone una verdad taxativa y obstinada, sin embargo, habría que demostrar la necesidad y función de la mentira dentro del lenguaje, para ello se tomará la imagen de Casandra, la princesa troyana que a pesar de decir siempre la verdad nadie le creía.
