The population consisted of 235 administrative workers working in the Provincial Municipality of Huanuco, while the sample consisted of 136 workers. Results. A total of 25.7 % considered the strategic management of the Provincial Municipality of Huánuco to be deficient, 64.7 % perceived it to be regular and 9.5 % perceived it to be good. 30.8 % perceived that the development of the human potential of the Provincial Municipality of Huanuco is poor, 57.3 % perceived it to be fair and 11.7 % expressed that it is good. Conclusion. It was determined that Spearman's rho between the variables "strategic management" and "development of human potential of administrative personnel" is 0.540. Thus, according to Spearman's correlation estimation scale, there is a moderate positive correlation and, in addition, the data has a significance level of 0.016, which is less than 0.05, indicating that the correlation is significant. It can be concluded that strategic management is having a moderately significant impact on the development of human potential in the Provincial Municipality of Huanuco, 2021.Objetivo. Determinar la influencia de gestión estratégica en el desarrollo del potencial humano en la Municipalidad Provincial de Huánuco, 2021. Métodos. El enfoque del estudio fue cuantitativo, mientras que la investigación fue de nivel explicativo y de tipo aplicada. La población estuvo conformada por 235 trabajadores administrativos que laboran en la Municipalidad Provincial de Huánuco, mientras que la muestra estuvo conformada por 136 trabajadores. Resultados. El 25,7 % evidenció que la gestión estratégica de la Municipalidad Provincial de Huánuco es deficiente, el 64,7 % percibió que es regular y el 9,5 % percibió que es buena. El 30,8 % percibió que el desarrollo del potencial humano de la Municipalidad Provincial de Huánuco es malo, el 57,3 % percibió que es regular y el 11,7 % expresó que es buena. Conclusión. Se determinó que la rho de Spearman entre las variables “gestión estratégica” y “desarrollo del potencial humano del personal administrativo” es de 0,540. De este modo, de acuerdo al baremo de estimación de la correlación de Spearman, existe una correlación positiva moderada y, además, los datos poseen un nivel de significancia de 0,016, siendo menor que 0,05; lo que indica que la correlación es significativa.
