Sumario:Objective: This article have as main objective is to explain how happiness and work productivity are related in students of the Faculty of Economics of the Hermilio Valdizan National University, in Huanuco (Peru), in the year 2024. Materials and methods: A quantitative and descriptive approach was adopted to explain the relationship the happiness and work productivity in students. For the sample considered 184 university students from the Faculty of Economics, who were given a Likert-type questionnaire. Results: The results show that there is a positive relationship between the happiness and work productivity. The R^2 = 0.394 indicates that happiness explains a moderate part of the variability in productivity, which is consistent with the bar graphs, where most people are at levels a level "medium" of both happiness and productivity, with a considerable proportion at a "high" level. Conclusions: The research reveals that there exists a positive relationship between happiness and work productivity of the students, recommending the implement of emotional welfare strategies and exploring other factors that influence their performance.
