Job reinsertion as a resocialization instrument for the ex- prison population as a state policy

The purpose of this investigation was to carry out the analysis of the extent to which the State fulfills the responsibility of re-inserting the ex-prison population to a job, recognizing the purpose of the sentence as an instrument of resocialization. From the methodological context, it was possible to highlight that it presented a descriptive and explanatory study. It is important to note that a non-experimental design was applied. The population was made up of 3 Magistrates of the Criminal Chamber of the CSJ of Lima, 10 INPE officials, 15 individuals with a criminal past (ex-prisoners), 10 managers, directors and/or representatives of RR. H H. from informal and formal private companies and institutions in Lima and 12 UNFV teachers who are knowledgeable about the subject. At the end, it was concluded that the State has not been complying with it efficiently, since in the labor reintegration policies there is evidence of an imperative need to execute a legal reform of a scientific-social nature, which facilitates a generation of knowledge that contributes to obtaining employment opportunities for those who have already served a sentence.
