Sumario:This research study sought to explain the influence of eco-efficiency with environmental education on the students of high schools located in Tingo María, capital of Rupa Rupa district, Leoncio Prado province in Huánuco, 2017. This research work is a quantitative approach, substantive type research, non-experimental descriptive, correlational cross-sectional design, with a probabilistic sample represented by 120 surveyed people. Two instruments were applied to them, a questionnaire to measure eco-efficiency and another to measure environmental education. The validity testing was evaluated through validity content obtained the 80% as a higher grade like an indicator. The reliability measure with Conbrach Alfa to the questionnaire application of eco-efficiency was obtained the value of 0,940 and in the questionnaire application of environmental education was obtained 0,969; therefore, we can deduct that both of the questionnaires have an excellent reliability. Among the main descriptive results, we have that 55.4% (51) considers eco-efficiency good and 58.7% (54) considers environmental education good in the Educational Institutions of the City of Tingo María, 2017. The obtained data permitted collect the information and measure the variables to do the correlation and comparison corresponding. Between the principal descriptive results was seen that 55,4% (51) consider good the eco-efficiency and 58, 7% (54) see good the environmental education in high schools. The main conclusion was there is a meaningful influence between eco-efficiency and the education (< 0,05, Rho de spearman = 0,678 correlation average).
