Water is an irreplaceable resource for all forms of life, which varies in quality in different categories such as polluted, little polluted, good, regular and excellent due to the interaction with sources of pollution, in 2018 Peru adopted the Canadian model " ICA-PE ”instrument with which the variation in the quality of surface waters can be evaluated. The objective of this study was to evaluate the variation in the water quality of the Coata River in the Maravillas Bridge - Coata Bridge section due to the existence of polluting sources. To establish the variation in water quality between the sampling points ACFC-01 and DCFC-03, the source of contamination FC-02 was located, and FC-04 between the points of DCFC-03 and DCFC-05, from from which water samples were obtained from which 18 parameters required for the calculation of the ICA-PE were analyzed, the parameters were analyzed according to the standardized methods for the analysis of drinking and residual water (AWWA-APHA-2001). The quality of the water of the Coata River for population use goes from the poor category to regular due to rainfall, while for the irrigation of vegetables and animal drink it remains in the regular category both in dry and rainy periods. The pollutant sources of the Coata River in the Maravillas bridge to Coata bridge stretch do not influence the water quality of the Coata River. |

En el presente estudio se evaluó la variación de la calidad del agua del río Coata en el tramo puente Maravillas – Puente Coata debido a la existencia de fuentes contaminantes. Para establecer la variación de la calidad del agua se identificaron los puntos de muestreo: ACFC-01, DCFC-03 y DCFC-05 y las fuentes de contaminación: FC-02, y FC-04, a partir de los cuales se analizaron 18 parámetros requeridos para el cálculo del ICA-PE, los parámetros se analizaron de acuerdo a los métodos normalizados para el análisis de agua potable y residual (AWWA-APHA-2001). Las aguas del río Coata en el tramo puente Maravillas y puente Coata se encuentran contaminadas principalmente por materia orgánica, la fuente contaminante FC-02, descarga sus aguas directamente hacia el rio Coata, y aguas abajo se encuentra el punto de captación de agua para consumo humano de la ciudad de Juliaca (DCFC-03), el agua varia de la categoría mala a regular, para las actividades de riego de vegetales y bebida de animales (DCFC-05) se ubica en la categoría regular, los índices de calidad del agua en todos los puntos mejora con la precipitación pluvial. En el tramo del puente maravillas hacia el puente Coata las fuentes contaminantes varían la calidad del agua del rio Coata.A qualidade da água é classificada em diferentes categorias com base na presença de fontes poluidoras.Em 2018, o Peru adotou o modelo canadense "ICA-PE", instrumento com o qual a variação da qualidade da água superficial pode ser avaliada. No presente estudo, avaliou-se a variação da qualidade da água do Rio Coata no trecho da Ponte Maravillas - Ponte Coata devido à existência de fontes poluidoras. Para estabelecer a variação da qualidade da água, foram identificados os pontos de amostragem: ACFC-01, DCFC-03 e DCFC-05 e as fontes de contaminação: FC-02 e FC-04, dos quais foram analisados 18. parâmetros necessários para a cálculo do ICA-PE, os parâmetros foram analisados de acordo com os métodos padronizados para análise de água potável e residual (AWWA-APHA-2001). As águas do Rio Coata no trecho das Pontes Maravillas e Coata estão contaminadas principalmente por matéria orgânica, a fonte contaminante FC-02, descarrega suas águas diretamente no Rio Coata, e a jusante é o ponto de captação de água para consumo. da cidade de Juliaca (DCFC-03), a água varia da categoria ruim a regular, para as atividades de irrigação de hortaliças e bebedouro animal (DCFC-05) situa-se na categoria regular, os índices de qualidade da água em todos os pontos melhora com as chuvas. No troço da ponte maravilhosa para a ponte do Coata, as fontes poluidoras variam a qualidade da água do rio Coata.
