description The Cuban educational context is marked by the technological disruption of Generative Artificial Intelligence, which poses unprecedented challenges and opportunities for educational systems worldwide. The objective of this research is as follows: To propose a Professional Development Program in Generative Artificial Intelligence for Basic Secondary methodologies in the municipality of Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba, aimed at strengthening their methodological competencies for creating didactic resources within the framework of the Third Improvement of the National Education System. This research utilized information collection and processing methods, including observation, document analysis, diagnostic survey, group interview, expert judgment, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical, systemic-structural, modeling, deductive-demonstrative, among others. The sample consisted of five methodologies from the provincial team of Villa Clara. The program proved to be relevant because it effectively addressed the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in creating didactic resources for secondary education. Before implementation, the proposal was evaluated by experts as "Highly Relevant." Its implementation positively impacts the educational quality of the territory by promoting critical appropriation of technology, aligned with the principles of the Cuban educational model and contemporary demands for digital transformation in the pedagogical sphere.

El objetivo que se persigue en esta investigación es el siguiente: proponer un programa de superación profesional en IAG para metodólogos de secundaria básica del municipio de Santa Clara, en Villa Clara, Cuba, dirigido a fortalecer sus competencias metodológicas para la creación de recursos didácticos en el contexto del III Perfeccionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Educación. En este trabajo investigativo se utilizaron métodos de recopilación de la información y procesamiento de la información, entre los que se destacan la observación, análisis de documentos, encuesta diagnóstica, entrevista grupal, criterio de expertos, analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo, histórico-lógico, sistémico-estructural, modelación, deductivo demostrativo, entre otros. La muestra estuvo conformada por cinco metodólogos del equipo provincial de Villa Clara. El programa demostró ser pertinente porque se logró trabajar con efectividad el uso de la IAG en la elaboración de recursos didácticos para la enseñanza media. Antes de ponerla en práctica, la propuesta fue valorada por los criterios de expertos como muy pertinente. Su implementación impacta positivamente en la calidad educativa del territorio al promover una apropiación crítica de la tecnología, alineada con los principios del modelo educativo cubano y las demandas contemporáneas de transformación digital en el ámbito pedagógico.Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal.
