This research seeks to determine the relationship between the perception of the development of the avocado agro-export sector in the Ica region according to company size after the Peru-China Free Trade Agreement came into force. The type of study was quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational in scope. The probability sample consisted of 73 avocado producers and agro-exporting companies in the Ica region. A structured questionnaire was applied in three dimensions: productivity, quality and price. The chi-square test was used to test the relationship between the variables. The perception of productivity, quality and price in the avocado agro-export sector and firm size showed a low correlation in each of them. The overall p-value was not less than 0.05 for the chi-square test. Company size is not correlated with the perception of the development of the avocado agro-export sector in the Ica region after the Peru-China FTA. |

El tipo de estudio fue cuantitativo, no experimental, trasversal y de alcance correlacional. La muestra probabilística estuvo conformada por 73 productores y empresas agroexportadoras de palta de la región Ica. Se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado en tres dimensiones, productividad, calidad y precio. Para la comprobación de la relación entre las variables, se aplicó la prueba chi-cuadrado. La percepción de la productividad, calidad y precio en el sector agroexportador de palta y tamaño de empresa presenta baja correlación en cada una de ellas.El p-valor global no fue menor a 0.05 para la prueba de Chi-cuadrado. El tamaño de empresa no está correlacionada a la percepción del desarrollo sector agroexportador de palta de la región Ica a partir del TLC Perú – China.Esta pesquisa procura determinar a relação entre a percepção do desenvolvimento do setor agro-exportador do abacate na região de Ica de acordo com o tamanho da empresa após a entrada em vigor do Acordo de Livre Comércio Peru-China. O tipo de estudo foi quantitativo, não-experimental, transversal e correlacional em escopo. A amostra de probabilidade consistia de 73 produtores de abacate e empresas agroexportadoras da região de Ica. Um questionário estruturado foi aplicado em três dimensões: produtividade, qualidade e preço. O teste do qui-quadrado foi utilizado para testar a relação entre as variáveis. A percepção da produtividade, qualidade e preço no setor agro-exportador do abacate e o tamanho da empresa mostraram uma baixa correlação em cada uma delas. O p-valor total não foi inferior a 0,05 para o teste do qui-quadrado.
