In the industrial operation, it was estimated that up to 8 % of goods were not delivered between years 2012 and 2013, resulting in untimely fuel shortages in the customer’s facilities, noncompliance with diesel fuel cleanliness standards, among others. The present research establishes the guidelines for the comprehensive management of the contract.En el marco de la ejecución del megaproyecto minero Las Bambas, se tuvo regulada la operación industrial de suministro de combustible diésel B5 mediante el contrato CB02912 del que fueron partes Xstrata Copper y Petróleos del Perú. Se estimó en la operación industrial hasta un 8 % de bienes no entregados entre los años 2012 y 2013, desabastecimiento intempestivo de combustible en instalaciones del cliente e incumplimiento de la especificación del nivel de limpieza del combustible, entre otros incidentes.
