By 2024, a 10 % growth in exports is expected compared to 2023, forecasting an export of 725 000 tons of fresh avocado. This increase is attributed to prior investments, the strong commitment of local producers, and the enhanced productivity of the fields. Regions such as La Libertad, Lambayeque, Ayacucho, and Huancavelica, among others, are key in production. Despite a challenging political context and adverse weather conditions in 2023, the industry managed to meet its estimates.El presente artículo tiene como objetivo describir la situación actual y las perspectivas de la producción de palta peruana en el contexto del comercio internacional, a través de un diseño no experimental del tipo descriptivo. A partir de ello, se obtuvo que la producción y la exportación de palta peruana se mantiene en auge y con pronósticos positivos. Asimismo, en el 2021 el país cosechó 779 mil toneladas de palta y exportó 526 mil toneladas. Para el 2024, se espera un crecimiento del 10 % en las exportaciones respecto al 2023, con una proyección de exportación de 725 mil toneladas de palta fresca. El alza se atribuye a las inversiones previas y al fuerte compromiso de los productores locales y al incremento de la productividad de los campos.
