However, this cotton has some features such as short fiber and low torsional resistance which makes it impossible to spin it with conventional machinery; therefore, a machine specially adapted for the spinning process was used.El presente artículo evaluó la viabilidad técnica para obtener hilos de calidad elaborados con algodón nativo de color, algodón propio del Perú que crece en la costa norte y que se caracteriza por estar naturalmente pigmentado con los colores crema, marrón, verde, pardo, fifo (lila), blanco y beige sin la necesidad de ser teñido.
