Descripción
Sumario:This paper aims to address, from a legal perspective, the current problem within sporting events relating to external violence in this context. As a result of research carried out as part of a master's degree in sports law at the University of Valencia, the issue is analyzed from a comparative approach between the different legal systems in both Europe and America in order to highlight possible sources of conflict. As a corollary to this, a proposal is made for a comprehensive approach to the issue, raising the possibility of a specialized jurisdiction in the general field of sports law and taking into account, in particular, regulations that are orderly and adapted to current and future needs, posing the question to students and operators of the system: is it time for a comprehensive reform in this area?
