description Objective. The purpose of the study was to understand the experiences of adolescent offenders while participating in a psychoeducational intervention as part of fulfilling a socio-educational measure imposed at the penal level. Methodology. This qualitative study adheres to coherence within the sociocritical paradigm, leading to the development of a participatory research-action design. Such actions focus on a process of methodological rigor; thus, it has been necessary to observe information saturation through triangulation of information sources. Participants included 10 adolescents in conflict with the penal law (ACLP, by its Spanish acronym), along with 10 parents and/or guardians, as well as professionals involved in psychoeducational intervention. Data were collected through interviews, discussion groups, and team meetings, conducted virtually using a semi-structured interview guide, recorded in audio format. Subsequently, data underwent open, axial, and selective categorization and coding. Results. A detailed understanding of the change experience through psychoeducation, as narrated in the adolescent interviews, was obtained. Conclusions. It has been evidenced that the psychoeducational experience in adolescents generates changes in their development and their environment; furthermore, the analysis of the evolution and change of an adolescent offender has been conducted

El propósito del estudio fue conocer las vivencias de los adolescentes infractores mientras participan de la intervención psicoeducativa al realizar el cumplimiento de una medida socioeducativa impuesta a nivel penal, Metodología. El estudio, de carácter cualitativo, obedece a una coherencia desde el paradigma sociocrítico, llegándose a desarrollar un estudio de diseño de investigación-acción participativo. Este tipo de acciones se centran en un proceso de rigurosidad metodológica; para ello ha sido necesario observar la saturación del análisis de información mediante la triangulación de fuentes de información. Los participantes fueron 10 adolescentes en conflicto con la ley penal (ACLP), con 10 padres y/o tutores, así como también profesionales que realizan intervención psicoeducativa. Los datos se han consolidado a partir de entrevistas, grupos de discusión y reuniones de equipo, que se llevaron a cabo de manera virtual, a través de una guía de entrevista semiestructurada, las cuales fueron capturadas en grabación de audios. Con posterioridad, se ha llevado a cabo la categorización y codifcación abierta, axial y selectiva. Resultados. Se ha obtenido una comprensión detallada de la experiencia de cambio por la psicoeducación, relatada en líneas de las entrevistas a los adolescentes. Conclusiones.
