Objective. This article presents the results of a qualitative research. Its objective was to analyze interculturality in virtual education in a public educational center in the city of Ayacucho. Methods. The methodology used was classroom observation and semi-structured interviews with teachers, students and parents. The information obtained was subjected to a process of data reduction and analysis. Results. The main results indicate the limitations in the accessand use of information and communication technologies by the teacher and students, as well as the adaptation of the content of the classes to the local reality by the teacher. Conclusions. These conditions have resulted in a greater "rapprochement" of the students with the people of their environment and the culture of their origin, which, instead of contributing to cultural dialogue and intercultural education, has rather fostered endoculturation. |

Objetivo. Este articulo presenta resultados de una investigación cualitativa. Tuvo como objetivo analizar la interculturalidad en la educación virtual en un centro educativo público de la ciudad de Ayacucho. Métodos. Lametodología empleada fue la observación de clases y la entrevista semiestructurada al docente, alumnos y padres de familia. La información obtenida fue sometida a un proceso de reducción de datos y análisis. Resultados. Los principales resultados indican las limitaciones en el acceso y uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación por parte del docente y alumnos, así como la adaptación del contenido de las clases a la realidad local por parte del docente. Conclusiones. Estas condiciones han dado lugar a un mayor “acercamiento” de los educandos con las personas de su entorno y la cultura de su procedencia, el cual, en lugar de contribuir al diálogo cultural y la educación intercultural, más bien ha fomentado la endoculturación.Objetivo. Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa qualitativa. Seu objetivo foi analisar a interculturalidade na educação virtual em um centro educacional público na cidade de Ayacucho. Métodos. A metodologia A metodologia utilizada foi a observação de aulas e entrevistas semiestruturadas com professores, alunos e pais. As informações obtidas foram submetidas a um processo de redução e análise de dados. Resultados. Os principais resultados indicam as limitações no acesso e uso das tecnologias de informação e comunicação por parte do professor e dos alunos, bem como a adaptação do conteúdo das aulas à realidade local por parte do professor. Conclusões.
