description Objective. To determine the relationship between the approach to Health Promotion applied in curriculum and quality of competitive professional training. Methods. A correlational study was carried out. It comprised of 63 graduates from Professional Academic School of Nurs-ing, Universidad de Huanuco, 2015-2016. A health promotion approach questionnaire ap-plied in the curriculum and a check format on competitive professional quality were used. Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient was used in the inferential analysis of the results. Results. 74.6 % (47 graduates) had a moderately favorable perception of health promotion ap-proach applied in the curriculum. On the other hand, in the quality of competitive professional training, 58.7 % (37 graduates) showed a poor quality of training. Furthermore, there is a sig-nificant relationship between health promotion approach and quality of competitive profes-sional training (rs = 0.58; p = 0.000), and also between quality of competitive professional training and health promotion approach in primary care (rs = 0.49; p <= 0.000), state, society and public policies (rs = 0.49; p <= 0.000) and community nursing (rs = 0.39; p <= 0.002). Conclusion. There is a positive and significant relationship between the health promotion ap-proach applied in the curriculum plan and the quality of competitive professional training in health promotion.

Se llevó a cabo un estudio correlacional con 63 egresados de la Escuela Académico Profesional de Enfermería, Universidad de Huánuco, 2015-2016. Se empleó un cuestionario de enfoque de promoción de la salud aplicado en el currículo y el formato de chequeo sobre calidad profesional competitiva. En el análisis inferencial de los resultados se utilizó el coeficiente de correlación de rho de Spearman. Resultados. El 74,6 % (47 egresados) tuvo percepción medianamente favorable sobre el enfoque de promoción de la salud aplicado en el currícu-lo. En cambio, en la calidad de formación profesional competitiva, el 58,7 % (37 egresados) mostró una calidad de la formación deficiente. Además, existe relación significativa entre el enfoque de promoción de la salud y la calidad de la formación profesional competitiva (rs = 0,58; p = 0,000), y también entre calidad de la formación profesional competitiva y el enfo-que de promoción de la salud en atención primaria (rs = 0,49; p <= 0,000), estado, sociedad y políticas públicas (rs = 0,49; p <= 0,000) y enfermería comunitaria (rs = 0,39; p <= 0,002). Conclusión. Existió relación positiva y significativa entre el enfoque de promoción de la salud aplicado en el plan curricular y la calidad de la formación profesional competitiva en promoción de la salud.Objetivo. Determinar a relação entre a abordagem de promoção da saúde aplicada no currículo e a qualidade da formação profissional competitiva. Métodos. Foi realizado um estudo correlacional com 63 graduados da Escuela Académico Profesional de Enfer-mería, Universidad de Huánuco, 2015-2016. Um questionário de abordagem de promoção da saúde aplicado no currículo e a lista de verificação da qualidade profissional competitiva foram utilizados. O coeficiente de correlação rho do Spearman foi usado na análise inferencial dos resultados. Resultados. 74,6% (47 graduados) tinham uma percepção moderadamente favorável da abordagem de promoção da saúde aplicada no currículo. Por outro lado, 58,7% (37 formados) tinham uma qualidade de treinamento de baixa qualidade na qualidade de um treinamento profissional competitivo. Além disso, há uma relação significativa entre a abordagem de promoção da saúde e a qualidade da formação profissional competitiva (rs = 0,58, p = 0,000), e também entre a qualidade da formação profissional competitiva e a abordagem de promoção da saúde na atenção primária (rs = 0,49, p <= 0,000), estado, sociedade e políticas públicas (rs = 0,49, p <= 0,000) e enfermagem comunitária (rs = 0,39, p <= 0,002). Conclusão.
