The instruments used were the questionnaire on the general characteristics of the nursing professionals under study and the adapted short 5X form multifactorial leadership questionnaire. Results. The results were analyzed using the Chi Square test. Obtaining that 48,2 % of nursing professionals developed transformational leadership, on the other the transformational  leadership styles (p <0.041) which means that they were related to the development of some type of leadership, while transactional leadership (p <0,212) and corrective / avoidant leadership (p <0,813) are not related. Conclusion. The leadership style most developed by the nursing professionals in the promotional preventive areas of the Huánuco health network establishments was Transformational leadership

Determinar el estilo de liderazgo que más desarrollan los profesionales de enfermería de las áreas preventivas promocionales, de los establecimientos de la red de salud Huánuco. Métodos. Fue un estudio descriptivo observacional, prospectiva, transversal con 56 profesionales de enfermería que laboranen las áreas preventivo promocionales, de los establecimientos de la red de salud Huánuco en el 2016. Los instrumentos empleadosfueronel cuestionario de las características generales de los profesionalesde enfermeríaen estudioy el cuestionario multifactorial de liderazgo forma 5X corta adaptado. Resultados. Se analizó los resultados mediante la prueba Chi Cuadrada. Obteniendo que el 48,2 % de los profesionales de enfermería desarrollaronel liderazgo transformacional, por otro los estilos el liderazgo transformacional (p<0,041) que significa que se relacionaron con el desarrollo de algún tipo de liderazgo, mientras que el liderazgo transaccional (p<0,212) y liderazgo correctivo/evitador (p<0,813) no se relacionan. Conclusión. Elestilo de liderazgo más desarrollado por los profesionales de enfermería en las áreas preventivas promocionales, de  los establecimientos del area de salud Huánuco fue el liderazgoTransformacional. Objetivo. Determinar o estilo de liderança mais desenvolvido pelos profissionais de enfermagem nas áreas preventiva e promocional dos estabelecimentos da rede de saúde Huánuco. Métodos. Este foi um estudo descritivo, observacional, prospectivo, transversal, descritivo de 56 profissionais de enfermagem que trabalham nas áreas de prevenção-promocional das instalações da rede de saúde de Huánuco em 2016. Os instrumentos utilizados foram o questionário das características gerais dos profissionais de enfermagem em estudo e o questionário de liderança multifatorial 5X adaptado de forma resumida. Resultados. Os resultados foram analisados utilizando o teste do qui-quadrado. Obtendo que 48,2% dos profissionais de enfermagem desenvolveram liderança transformacional, por outro lado, estilos de liderança transformacional (p<0,041) o que significa que eles estavam relacionados ao desenvolvimento de algum tipo de liderança, enquanto a liderança transacional (p<0,212) e a liderança corretiva/evitante (p<0,813) não estavam relacionadas. Conclusão.
