The aim of this research is to analyze the “television narrative” that has been constructed about ETA almost ten years after the cessation of violence. As the programs had different formats, a qualitative methodology based on textual analysis was used. The conclusions show a new narrative which recalled some historical facts and gave the victims a clearly prominent role. This resulted in a renewed discourse that builds collective memory in order to learn some lessons and move forward for the sake of coexistence and reconciliation.Durante la temporada 2019-2020 se emitieron en España seis programas de televisión sobre ETA. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el relato “televisivo” que se ha construido sobre la banda terrorista casi diez años después del cese de la violencia. Para ello se utiliza una metodología cualitativa basada en el análisis textual por tratarse de formatos independientes. Las conclusiones muestran un nuevo relato donde coincide la recuperación de determinados hechos históricos y el protagonismo ostensible de las víctimas. El resultado es un discurso renovado que construye memoria colectiva para aprender y avanzar en aras de la convivencia y la reconciliación.Universidad de Piura.
