La influencia particular de Internet ha contribuido a ponerle un nuevo nombre al mundo: Sociedad de la Información. No obstante, se observa como obstáculo su escasa penetración en los países de Latinoamérica, África y Medio Oriente. El artículo explora la evolución de la Sociedad de la Información en Perú, presentando un estado de la cuestión respecto a las tecnologías de la información en el país.Universidad de Piura.
