The three systems will perform as «Ideal Types» (Weber, 1985), useful to synthesize similar approaches at the moment scattered due to a lack of a sufficiently developed theoretical corpus. Methodologically, this tripartite taxonomy allows us to highlight the range and limitations of some of the proposals of various authors, as well as serve as the prologue for the presentation of an alternativethat we deem superior. Este trabajo se propone desarrollar la discusión alrededor de la gestión de los datos digitales generados gratuitamente por los usuarios. Para lograrlo trataremos de postular tres regímenes posibles de propiedad de los datos digitales: uno de carácter privado, basado en la implementación de un mercado de datos; otro público, donde hay una centralización de la gestión en manos estatales; finalmente, uno comunitario, donde el control de los datos cae bajo la supervisión de comunidades políticas más pequeñas. Los tres van a funcionar como «tipos ideales» (Weber, 1985), útiles para sintetizar planteos similares actualmentedesperdigados por falta de un corpus teórico lo suficientemente desarrollado.
